Featured on this piece is a natural blue zircon mined, cut and polished in Ratanakiri, Cambodia. The soothing light blue contrasts sensationally with the stark bright yellow bail and three prongs.

High quality blue zircons come from Ratanakiri, Cambodia, and come in several different tones. Natural Zircon, which is a mineral that forms naturally deep in the Earth's crust, unfortunately tends to gets mistaken with the diamond imitation 'CZ' or 'Cubic Zirconia', a man-made mineral, synthesized in a lab through the mixing of zirconium oxide powder and metals such as magnesium and calcium.
