Orloff of Denmark (Thailand) Co., Ltd operates orloffofdenmark.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we hold it, and what you can require of us.

What we collect:
When you order: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number, what you bought, and any ring size or engraving instructions you give us. Card details are entered directly with our payment providers. We never see or store a full card number.
When you browse: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view and the site you arrived from. This comes from our store platform's own cookies.
When you write to us or subscribe: your email address and whatever you choose to put in the message.
Why we hold it
- To take, make, ship and support your order, because we have a contract with you.
- To meet tax, accounting, export and customs obligations, because the law requires it.
- To prevent fraud and keep the store secure, because we have a legitimate interest in doing so.
- To send marketing email, only if you have consented, and only until you withdraw.
- To understand how the store is used, with your consent where cookies require it.
Email we send you
There are two kinds, and they are treated differently.
Order email, meaning confirmations, dispatch and delivery notices, and messages about a piece being made for you, is part of fulfilling your order. Every customer receives it. It is not marketing.
Marketing email, meaning new pieces, offers and private viewings, is sent only to people who have asked for it. Every one carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to info@orloffofdenmark.com.
Some offers are limited to a single country, or to our storefront in Hua Hin. Where that is the case we choose recipients by the country of the address you have given us, so that we do not send you an invitation you cannot use. We do not build profiles of you beyond your location and what you have bought from us.
Cookies
Necessary cookies keep your basket and your chosen language and currency working. The store cannot function without them and they are always on.
Analytics cookies tell us which pages are visited and how people move through the store. They are set by our store platform.
Marketing cookies would let us measure advertising and show you relevant ads. We set these only if you agree, and you can change your mind at any time from the cookie settings in the footer.
Who else sees it
Our store and checkout platform; our payment providers; the carriers who deliver your parcel and the customs authorities they must declare it to; our email provider; our accountants and auditors; and any authority we are legally obliged to answer. We do not sell personal data and we never have.
Sending data abroad
We operate from Thailand and our suppliers are spread across Europe, the United States and Asia, so your data will cross borders. Where we move data out of the EEA or the UK we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or on an adequacy decision where one exists.
How long we keep it
- Order, invoice and customs records: ten years, because tax law requires it.
- Marketing consent: until you withdraw it, then a further three years as evidence that you did.
- Correspondence with us: three years.
- Analytics: no more than twenty-four months.
What you can require of us
You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to what we are doing with it, ask us to restrict it, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw any consent you have given. Write to info@orloffofdenmark.com and we will answer within thirty days.
If we get it wrong you can complain. In the EU or UK, to your national data protection authority. In Thailand, to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee.
Children
This store is not intended for children under sixteen and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
The date at the top of this page is the date it last changed. If we change anything that materially affects you, we will email everyone who has subscribed to hear from us.
